We will monitor your loved one’s vital signs and provide treatment for withdrawal symptoms as needed. Usually, detox lasts for about 1-2 weeks until the client reaches a place of physical stability.

During the day, clients in residential treatment at Veritas Detox participate in a rich combination of groups, individual therapy sessions, exercise, family therapy, holistic treatments, and other activities that promote recovery and whole-person well-being. Aftercare Planning

As part of the aftercare planning process, we can refer your loved one to outpatient programs, sober living, or other resources in their area. We also offer extensive alumni support opportunities for former clients so that they will always have a strong and supportive sober community to turn to.

  • Al-Anon. Al-Anon and Alateen meetings are available to loved ones of those facing alcoholism. Alateen is specific to teenagers struggling with the effects of someone else’s drinking, whereas Al-Anon meetings are open to either friends and family members or friends, family members, and outsiders. 
  • Nar-Anon. Nar-Anon Family Groups are available to family members and friends of addicts. Similar to Alateen, Narateen is open to teenagers who have a loved one facing addiction.
